One of Hollywood’s great character actors, Frederic Forrest passed away on June 23rd at the age of 86. His co-star from his 1979 musical drama The Rose, Bette Midler, confirmed his death on her Twitter account, where she first thanked his fans and friends for all their support the last few months of his illness.
