Zviad Dolidze

Zviad Dolidze is a film historian and critic. He is the dean of the Art Sciences, Media and Management Faculty and a full professor in Film Studies at the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University (Tbilisi, Georgia). He has two PH Degrees in History and in Art Criticism (sub-qualification – Film, TV and other Screen Arts). He is the author of seven books (including "The Film World of Akira Kurosawa" and "John Ford”), the co-author of three collections, and the author of several dozen articles published in the local and international media. He is a member of the Georgian Film Academy and the Association "Cinerama". Zviad has been a jury member at several international film festivals, including those in Sofia (Bulgaria), Minsk (Belarus), Amsterdam (the Netherlands), Bucharest (Romania), and Miskolc (Hungary).
