The movie La dégustation is the new number 1 at the box office. Directed by Ivan Calbérac with Isabelle Carré, Bernard Campan, and Mounir Amamra, the movie is about a divorced man who runs a small winery on the verge of bankruptcy. His life will change when a single woman sign-ups for a tasting workshop. For the first week, La dégustation grossed $731,332.        

Bullet Train is staying at 2^nd place. Directed by David Leitch with Brad Pitt, Joey King, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Bullet Train is an action comedy about five assassins aboard a fast-moving bullet train who find out their missions have something in common. This week, the movie grossed $662,858 reaching a total of $9,385,679.

Tad the Lost Explorer and The Curse of the Mummy lost two spots and is now in 3^rd place. Directed by Enrique Gato, the animated movie is about Tad Stones’ dream to be recognized as a great archaeologist. Unfortunately, by opening a sarcophagus, he triggers a curse that will put the lives of his friends in danger. To end this curse and save Mummy, Jeff, and Bernardo, Tad and Sara embark on new adventures all over the world. This week, the movie grossed $577,808 getting a total of $2,034,561.          

Top Gun: Maverick climbed one spot and is now number 4^th at the box office. Directed by Joseph Kosinski with Tom Cruise, Miles Teller, and Jennifer Connelly, this sequel is about Pete “Maverick” Mitchell who continues to push his limits as a test pilot and in charge of training a detachment of young graduates from the Top Gun school for a special mission that no pilot would have ever imagined. The movie grossed $463,963 reaching a total of $45,484,476.

The French comedy Rumba Therapy lost two spots and is now in 5^th place. Directed by Franck Dubosc with Franck Dubosc, Louna Espinosa, and Jean-Pierre Darroussin, the movie is about a dad who is ready to do anything to get connected with his daughter. The movie grossed $441,675 reaching a total of $1,519,911.     

Les violets verts lost two spots as well and is now in 6^th place. Directed by Jean Becker with Gérard Depardieu, Fanny Ardant, and Benoît Poelvoorde, the movie is the portrait of a sacred monster, Jules Maugin, an actor at the height of his glory in the 70s. Under the famous personality, the intimacy of a man is revealed. The movie grossed $436,255 and got a total of $1,509,706.

In its first week, Fire is number 7 at the box office. Directed by Claire Denis with Juliette Binoche, Vincent Lindon, and Grégoire Colin, the movie is about a woman caught in a love triangle between her long-time partner and his best friend. Fire grossed $420,000.

Beast lost two spots and is now in 8^th place. Directed by Baltasar Kormákur with Idris Elba, Sharlto Copley, and Iyana Halley, this action/thriller movie is about a father and his two teenage daughters who find themselves hunted by a massive rogue lion in the savanna. The movie grossed $331,802 for a total of $1,166,129.  

La page blanche is premiering at the French box office in 9^th place. Directed by Murielle Magellan with Sara Giraudeau, Pierre Deladonchamps, and Grégoire Ludig, the movie is about a lady who suddenly appears with amnesia, and maybe will find love and a new happy life. The movie grossed $313,986.                   

After being from 3^rd to 7^th place, Minions: The Rise of Gru is now at 10^th place. Directed by Kyle Balda, Brad Ableson, and Jonathan del Val, the movie is about a twelve-year-old’s dream to become the world’s greatest supervillain. The movie grossed this week $309,311 and got a total of $26,369,037.
