Launch Party on September 7, 2024 Marks Countdown to 82nd Golden Globe Awards

The Golden Globes® will mark the kickoff to the 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards® with a “Road to the Golden Globes Party” on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the iconic Four Seasons Hotel Toronto during the acclaimed Toronto International Film Festival celebrating this year’s cinematic achievements.

“We are thrilled to be at TIFF with our traditional star-studded bash and renew our relationship that began decades ago and start the countdown to the 82ndGolden Globe Awards,” said Helen Hoehne, President of the Golden Globes.

The Golden Globes has traditionally held its iconic party on the first weekend of TIFF for nearly two decades. This year’s event is being held in partnership with Four Seasons Hotel Toronto and luxury-lifestyle magazine Robb Report. The much-anticipated party starts the kickoff of the official countdown to the Golden Globe Awards which will only be 120 days away from the start of the party.

The Road to the Golden Globes party is private and by invitation only. Media interested in covering the red carpet for the party are asked to email media@goldenglobes.org no later than 5 PM PDT Friday, August 23, 2024. Space is extremely limited.

The 82ND ANNUAL GOLDEN GLOBE® AWARDS, the first major award show of the season, will air Sunday, January 5, 2025 (8:00-11:00 PM, live ET/5:00-8:00 PM, live PT) on the CBS Television Network, and stream on Paramount+ in the U.S. (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the special airs)*.

Nomination announcements for the Golden Globe Awards will take place on Monday, December 9, 2024.
