Kali Reis
Kali Reis (Aug. 24, 1986 in Providence, RI) is an American professional boxer and actress, holding a world champion title in the female middleweight and female light welterweight classes. Reis starred alongside Jodie Foster in the HBO’s “True Detective: Night Country, for which she has been nominated for a Golden Globe.
After making her acting debut as a boxer in “Catch the Fair One,” she was nominated at the 37th Independent Spirit Awards.
Reis identifies as Cherokee, Nipmuc, and Seaconke Wampanoag and is an active supporter of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls movement.
