Golden Globes Announces Tribute Event in Brazil 2026
The Golden Globes announced it will host an event in partnership with Urland Ventures celebrating Brazilian film and television talent, scheduled for March 2026 in Rio de Janeiro.
“The Golden Globes has a long history of recognizing international talent, and Brazil has given the world some of the most extraordinary voices, stories, and artistic vision,” said Helen Hoehne, president of the Golden Globes. “We are excited to celebrate and recognize these incredible Latin American artists.”
This marks a new chapter in the Globes’ ongoing mission to expand its global footprint by hosting events in major international hubs of entertainment development, celebrating local storytelling and bridging regional talent on the global stage.
The event is produced in partnership with Uri Singer, Chief Executive Officer of Passage Pictures, and entertainment entrepreneur Orlando John.
“We are grateful to partner with the Golden Globes and turn the world’s attention to the cultural and entertainment force Brazil has become,” said Singer. “The Globes’ long history of valuing and supporting international artists and creatives will be on full display with the energy and flair that only Brazil can provide.”
More details will be announced in early 2026.
