It Was Just an Accident
Jafar Panahi’s film It Was Just an Accident, an auto mechanic encounters a man that he suspects was his sadistic guard in an Iranian prison. To confirm his belief, the mechanic rounds up other former prisoners to take a look at the man. Panahi is Iranian and still lives there but he has to be careful because of the government. As a result, the film is a French submission for the category and it has various distributors around the world, including Neon in the U.S.
