Blue Moon
Sony Classics’ Blue Moon centers on famed Broadway lyricist Lorenz Hart on the evening when his rivals’ Oklahoma! opens and confirms that his career is in crisis. Ethan Hawke transforms into the self-loathing, acerbic talent, with able support from such actors as Andrew Scott as Richard Rodgers and Bobby Cannavale as a Sardi’s bartender. This is one of Richard Linklater’s two films in 2025, also with Nouvelle Vague.
