Bryce Dessner

Bryce Dessner (born April 23, 1976 in Cincinnati, Ohio) is a Paris-based musician and composer. His film scores include Netflix’s The Two Popes (2019) and he contributed to the scores of The Revenant (2015) and Big Sur (2013). He is a member of music group The National. He grew up in Cincinnati and earned a master’s degree from the Yale School of Music; aside from his work in films and pop music, he also creates concert music.
