A Martínez

A Martinez (born as George Louis Martinez) is a host of NPR’s Morning Edition, which he joined in July 2021. He began working in radio as a board operator for XTRA 690 and subsequent work includes jobs at KXTA in Los Angeles, and covered the Los Angeles Dodgers for 10 years; KSPN (L.A.’s ESPN station) and public radio’s KPCC. Aside from Morning Edition, he is a cohost of podcast Up First.
