Golden Globes Rolls Out Redesigned Red Carpet in a Preview of the Jan. 11 Show

| The air was chilly Jan 8 but the mood was warm and sunny Jan 8 as the Golden Globes offered a red-carpet rollout and clues for what to expect at the Jan 11 ceremony. On hand for the event were Globes president Helen Hoehne, host Nikki Glaser, show exec Barry Adelman, Glenn Weiss (one of the two Globes showrunners and exec producers; Ricky Kirshner was unable to attend); Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, whose restaurant will again cater the food Sunday night; and Beverly Hills Mayor Sharona Nazarian, More than 100 media members were the first to see the new configuration of the oxblood-colored carpet. Construction at the Beverly Hilton and the upcoming Beverly Hills One project required some rethinking and reshaping; as a new addition, a dozen steps will offer dramatic photo possibilities. As Hoehne said in her opening remarks, the show will be “bigger, better and more glamorous than ever before,” creating “an unforgettable night.” The preview also featured select interview opportunities with the show’s key personnel, also including Dick Clark Prods. VP Jitter Garcia and Kyle Absolom, president-creative director of Unboxed, who shared insight into the upcoming ceremony, as well as a first look at the stage design, seating card placements and more.The 83rd Annual Golden Globes® will air live on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT on the CBS Television Network, and stream on Paramount+ in the U.S. (*Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers will have access to stream live via the live feed of their local CBS affiliate on the service, as well as on-demand.
