Walden Cassotto
Bobby Darin (born Walden Cassotto in New York City May 14, 1936, died December 20, 1973) a singer, songwriter of pop hits like “Splish Splash” and “Dream Lover,” received a special Golden Globe called International Recognition Award for Come September (1961) with Rock Hudson, Gina Lollobrigida and Sandra Dee. He starred in Too Late Blues (1961) by John Cassavetes, Pressure Point (1962) with Sidney Poitier, acted with Gregory Peck and Tony Curtis in Captain Newman, M.D. (1963), with his wife Sandra Dee in That Funny Feeling (1965) for which he composed the soundtrack and the title song.
