Charles S. Dutton
Charles S. Dutton (born in Baltimore, Maryland, January 30, 1951) acted on television in the series Roc (1991-1994), with Alfre Woodard in the TV movie The Piano Lesson (1995) from the 1987 play by August Wilson, that he had performed on Broadway, the TV movie Blind Faith (1998). He directed the miniseries The Corner (2000). He acted in movies like Alien 3 (1992) by David Fincher, Cry, the Beloved Country (1995), A Time to Kill (1996) by Joel Schumacher, Cookie’s Fortune (1999) by Robert Altman, Gothika (2003) with Halle Berry, Secret Window (2004) with Johnny Depp. He directed Against the Ropes (2004) starring Meg Ryan and Omar Epps.
