Josephine Hull (born Marie Josephine Sherwood, in Newtonville, Massachusetts, January 3, 1877, died March 12, 1957), a theater actress and director, reprised her stage roles in movies like After Tomorrow (1932) by Frank Borzage, Arsenic and Old Lace (1944) by Frank Capra starring Cary Grant, Harvey (1950) with James Stewart.
