Nathan Lane

Nathan Lane (born Joseph Lane in Jersey City, New Jersey, February 3, 1956) acted in numerous stage plays and in movies like The Birdcage (1996) remake of La Cage aux Folles (1978) directed by Mike Nichols with Robin Williams, Mouse Hunt (1997) by Gore Verbinski, The Producers (2005) from the 2001 Broadway musical based on the 1967 movie by Mel Brooks with Matthew Broderick and Uma Thurman. On television he acted in Modern Family (2010-2019), The Good Wife (2012-2014), The People v. O.J. Simpson (2016), Penny Dreadful: City of Angels (2020), The Gilded Age (2022), Only Murders in the Building (2022).
