Shekhar Kapur
Shekhar Kapur (born December 6, 1945 in Lahore, Punjab, now Pakistan then British India,) made his directing debut with the Indian movie musical Masoom (1983), he directed also in Hindi the superhero film Mr. India (1987) and Bandit Queen (1994). He directed in English Elizabeth (1998) and sequel Elizabeth: The Golden Age (2007) with Cate Blanchett as Queen Elizabeth I, the war drama The Four Feathers (2002) with Heath Ledger and Kate Hudson, the romantic comedy What’s Love Got to Do with It? (2022) with Lily James and Emma Thompson.
