Mariska Hargitay

Mariska Hargitay (born Jan. 23, 1964, in Santa Monica, CA) joined the new spinoff series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, when it began in 1999. She remained with the series for more than 25 years, becoming the highest paid TV actress during that time and winning a Golden Globe. Here parents were Jayne Mansfield and Mickey Hargitay.
