Olivia Colman (born in Norwich, England, January 30, 1974) graduated from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, acted on television in comedy series like Peep Show (2003-2015), Twenty Twelve (2011-2012), Fleabag (2016-2019), TV dramas like Accused (2010), Broadchurch (2013-2017), The Night Manager (2016) from the 1993 novel by John le Carré. She played Queen Elizabeth II in The Crown (2019-2020). Colman acted in movies like The Iron Lady (2011) with Meryl Streep, Hyde Park on Hudson (2012) with Bill Murray, The Lobster (2015) with Colin Farrell and Rachel Weisz. She played leading roles in The Favourite (2018) by Yorgos Lanthimos with Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz, The Father (2020) by Florian Zeller with Anthony Hopkins, The Lost Daughter (2021) directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal from the 2006 novel by Elena Ferrante, Joyride (2022), Empire of Light (2022) written and directed by Sam Mendes.
