Anthony Scott (born in Tynemouth, England, June 21, 1944, died August 19, 2012), younger brother of film director Ridley Scott, directed movies like The Hunger (1983), Top Gun (1986) and Days of Thunder (1990) starring Tom Cruise, Beverly Hills Cop II (1987) with Eddie Murphy, Revenge (1990) with Kevin Costner, The Last Boy Scout (1991) with Bruce Willis, True Romance (1993) from a script by Quentin Tarantino, Crimson Tide (1995) with Denzel Washington and Gene Hackman, Enemy of the State (1998) with Will Smith, Spy Game (2001) with Robert Redford and Brad Pitt, Man on Fire (2004), Déjà Vu (2006), and Unstoppable (2010) with Denzel Washington.
