Bill Lawrence
Bill Lawrence (born in Ridgefield, Connecticut, December 26, 1968), is an American writer, director, and television producer. He is the creator of many successful TV series between the 90s and 2000s such as Spin City (1996 – 2004) thanks to which he got three consecutive Golden Globe nominations between 1998 and 2000 – Scrubs (2001 – 2010) and Cougar Town (2009 – 2015). In recent years he co-developed Ted Lasso, thanks to which he got two nominations in 2021 and 2022 for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy.
