Eirik Bull is a Norwegian film journalist and hobbyist screenwriter with special interest in science-fiction, fantasy and fandom. Bull is well known in Norwegian film and streaming journalism, and he is active writing articles, reviews, and interviews for the newly established Norwegian website, Narrative.no. His bylines can also be found on the Norwegian film website Filmmagasinet.no, and Denmark’s premier movie site Moovy.dk, among others. And as a fan of everything Middle-earth, he has also written articles and conducted interviews for the world’s largest Tolkien website, TheOneRing.net. Bull’s academic background in film production, marketing, and brand management complements his lifelong passion for film. He has a particular interest in the nuanced social and psychological facets of media fandom, mythic storytelling and how it affects our lives. In addition, as a member of the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI), he has served on the organization’s juries such as the 55th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and the 47th Göteborg Film Festival.
