Adriana Fernández
Adriana Fernández has a degree in communications from Iberoamericana University in Mexico City, a master’s degree in international relations from Boston University and a PhD in history from Iberoamericana University. She is a film critic for Reforma newspaper, El Heraldo Radio and ADN40 News Network. She has made several appearances at ForoTV broadcasting station in Mexico City. She has published articles for the Iberoamericana University and CUEC magazines, as well as for the BBC London’s website. Adriana is a member of FIPRESCI (International Federation of Film Critics) and has served as a juror at multiple film festivals, including Los Cabos (2018), Toronto (2020), Heartland (2021), Palm Springs (2022) and Venice (2023). She has also participated in the DOQUMENTA film festival and the Arts Festival of the ITESM. She is an academic at Anáhuac University in Mexico City, where she is a tenured professor in film studies. She also coordinates the master of arts degree in development and management of the entertainment industry.
