Juan Pablo Russo is a journalist, film critic, curator, and cultural manager. He currently works as director of the specialized website EscribiendoCine and coordinator of the Audiovisual Arts Area at the Floreal Gorini Cultural Center, where he is also responsible for the film programming. Additionally, he collaborates with Revista Acción and has been coordinating the School of Cinema Viewers in Buenos Aires since 2016. Russo has contributed to various national and Hispano-American media outlets and has participated as a speaker and jury member in numerous international film festivals, including the Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Cinema (BAFICI), the Mar del Plata International Film Festival, the Festival of High Altitude Cinema, Bogoshorts, MyFrenchFilmFestival, the Ceará Ibero-American Film Festival, the Diva Film Festival, among others. He is the president of the Argentine Film Critics Association (ACCA) and a member of the executive committee of Ibero-American Film Journalists (PIC). In 2022, Russo was awarded the Silver Condor for Journalistic Merit.
