Susana Moscatel Levy

Susana Moscatel is an entertainment journalist, host and editor who has been active non-stop for the last 25 years. She has worked in radio, television and on the web, has hosted the Mexican and Latin American red carpets for diverse international events and has written three books, the latest called “The Musicals that Have Saved my Life”. For the last fourteen years she’s written the entertainment column Estado Fallido in The Milenio Newspaper that runs Monday through Friday. she also has two different shows for the Milenio TV Channel (for which she works as both interviewer and television critic) and does special coverages for international events. She was editor in chief for a decade of the national newspaper The Milenio Newspaper. She also works as a translator and adaptor for the theatre in México for shows including Rent, The Lion King and The Vagina Monologues among many others. She is widely recognized for her work as a simultaneous translator in live events, the latest being The Tony Awards for all of Latin America. Susana has won various awards, including The National Prize for Radio two times. She is also a proud founding member of Opinion51, a project that amplifies the voices of women columnists and writers in Spanish. She is an avid runner, having competed more than 10 marathons, and is very active in the animal rescue movement in Mexico City.
