Even though classified as an Italian film in competition for the Palme d’Or, Le Otto Montagne (The Eight Mountains) was made by a team of Belgian filmmakers, including celebrated cinematographer Ruben Impens who received a nomination here only last year for Titane. HFPA reporter Greet Ramaekers caught up with him on the Rue d’Antibes in Cannes.
