HOLLYWOOD, CA, April 22, 2008 – Jorge Camara, President of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, announced the timetable for “The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards” to be telecast Sunday, January 11, 2009 from 8-11 PM (EST) live from The Beverly Hilton on NBC.

            Key dates are as follows:

 

October 31, 2008 Friday	Final date for press conferences for Television entries
November 7, 2008 Friday	Deadline for submission of Golden Globe entry forms
November 26, 2008 Wednesday	Deadline for nomination ballots to be mailed by Ernst & Young to all HFPA members
December 6, 2008 Saturday	Final screening date for Motion Pictures
December 7, 2008 Sunday	Final date for Motion Picture press conferences
December 8, 2008 Monday	Deadline for receipt by Ernst & Young of nomination ballots
December 11, 2008 Thursday	5:00 a.m. Nomination announcement of “The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards”
December 12, 2008 Friday	Deadline for receipt of media credential applications
December 22, 2008 Monday	Final ballots mailed by Ernst & Young to all HFPA members
December 31, 2008 Wednesday	Deadline for receipt of publicist credential applications
January 7, 2009 Wednesday	Deadline for receipt by Ernst & Young of final ballots
January 11, 2009 Sunday	Presentation of “The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards” Live telecast on NBC Television at 8 p.m. EST

 

 “The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards” will be seen in more than 150 countries worldwide and is one of the few awards ceremonies that span both television and motion picture achievements. The special will be produced by Dick Clark Productions in association with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
