JODIE FOSTER IS “PSYCHED TO RECEIVE THE CECIL B. DEMILLE AWARD”
Jodie Foster reacted with enthusiasm to the news that she was the recipient of the Cecil B. deMille Award at the 70th Golden Globes:
“I am psyched to receive the Cecil B. deMille Award at the Golden Globe ceremony this year. It will be my 47 th year in the film business and I am just as in love with making movies as ever. What better film school than growing up on movie sets? What better way to celebrate my 50th birthday year than to be surrounded by my industry peers? This award is just a fantastic marker on the road to even more adventures in film making. “
The Cecil B. deMille Award will be presented to Foster at the 70th Annual Golden Globe® Awards on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
