GLOBE VIEWING PARTY WILL RAISE FUNDS FOR KIDS’ CHARITY
ar-studded Golden Globe awards show, as well as attracting millions of viewers around the world, will also help raise money for charity thanks to a fundraising viewing party to be held in aid of the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Minnesota. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has granted the hospital’s fundraising organization, founded by the late entertainer Danny Thomas, the right to use the Globe logo and call the event, to be held at the Metropolitan Ballroom in Minneapolis, an official Golden Globe Viewing Party. Funds from the event will be used to find cures for children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases through research and treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital where no family pays for anything.
