It’s All About Style When Jeremy Piven Becomes Mr. Selfridge
Jeremy Piven is in London, on set of the final season of the ITV series Mr. Selfridge, looking sharp and relaxed in a J. Lindeberg suit and shoes by J. Crew. He says he feels a kinship with his current character, Harry Gordon Selfridge, the American who, in 1909 London, founded the pioneering shopping emporium Selfridges, which came to be touted as the ‘best department store in the world’. “He works hard and has a little bit of a showman in his personality,” smiles Jeremy. The Entourage star says fans in America often tell him: ‘Go on. Be Ari Gold’, and can be quite surprised to discover that he is not boisterous in person.
Which Jeremy Piven do you prefer? The impulsive Ari Gold or the entrepreneurial Harry Selfridge?
