Hugh Grant To Be Honored At The Zürich Film Festival
The Zürich film festival kicked off with a screening of Lion. The opening film directed by Garth Davis tells the true story of how five year old Saroo gets lost on a train which takes him thousands of miles across India, away from home and family. Saroo must learn to survive alone in Kolkata, before ultimately being adopted by an Australian couple. Twenty five years later, with only a handful of memories, he sets out to find his lost family and finally return to his first home. The Zurich festival, in it’s 12th year, runs from September 22nd to October 2nd and showcases 172 movies from 32 countries. Hugh Grant will be collecting the prestigious Golden Icon Award this year, as a symbol of recognition and appreciation of his lifetime achievements as an actor.
