On Music: Going Country with Hayden Panettiere

Hayden Panettiere, twice Golden Globe nominated for her starring role in the TV series Nashville, has new respect for country music.

‘There have been quite a few songs in the show that you really see through the lyrics and that is one of the things I love so much about country music: These songs tell a story and if you really listen to the words it gets you. it’s very important and it’s something that I am very passionate about and I just love the fact that I get to do both of these things.  I mean, the chance is probably once in a lifetime that you get to act and you get to sing and you get to sing a story.  I got really lucky.’
