HFPA in Conversation: Tamar-kali, Always Surrounded by Music

I was going to a private university that I couldn’t afford, working-class family, and so when I came out I audited for a half a year, a semester, and then eventually I just never went back.”

Mudbound in 2017. That was followed by Come Sunday, The Lie, The Assistant, normal’>Shirley, a biographical drama based on the novel of the same name.Pariah cameo-ing in the film and lending some of my songs to her soundtrack. We started to develop a rapport. And as she became more familiar with my work and she realized the range of my work, she was interested in engaging me in new ways. And she wanted me to work on one of her projects as a composer.”
