2014 Sundance Film Festival Boasts A-List Guests & Thought-Provoking Panels
With award season in full swing, actors are slipping away to the gorgeous, mountainous scenes found in Park City, Utah for the 2014 Sundance Film Festival. This highly-acclaimed celebration features independent works from American and international artists, vying for a chance to get their flick up on the big screen.
Running through January 26, Sundance is slated to bring in a long list of A-list guests either in attendance to promote their film or just enjoy the show! Big names on the guest list include Kate Hudson, Zach Braff and Ashley Greene to show off their flick Wish I Was Here, along with Golden Globe-winning actress Elisabeth Moss, Chloe Moretz, Keira Knightley, Michael Fassbender, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Elle Fanning, Elijah Wood, Selena Gomez, Shailene Woodley and Kristen Stewart.
When guests aren’t taking in flicks, they have plenty of options for activities. Sundance offers a number of thought-provoking panels including an interactive celebration of the Robert Redford-founded festival’s 30th anniversary. The Free Fail program is a full day experience, in which artists explore the power of failure and its effect on the growth of a creative idea.
In addition, attendees have the opportunity to relax with a delicious cup of Joe from the Cinema Café while taking in a panel from the various filmmakers and rub shoulders with fellow guests at the Lodge for a number of engaging meetings about social issues.
Finally, Sundance wraps up with an awards ceremony honoring one director from Europe, Latin America, the United States and Japan for their exemplary films.
