The HFPA Announces Re-Election of Officers and Independent Board Member

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) announced the re-elections of Henry Arnaud and Adam Tanswell as Treasurer and Executive Secretary respectively and Sharlette Hambrick to her current seat as an independent Board member.

“We are delighted to see these three talented individuals continue to serve in their capacities. They have brought their knowledge, professionalism, and dedication in helping us continue the work of transforming the Association,” said Helen Hoehne, President of the HFPA. “They have participated at every step to ensure more transparency and change, whether it be in relation to our finances, how we operate, and in adhering strictly to our new bylaws and rules. We continue to be a stronger organization with their involvement.”

Henry Arnaud has been interviewing the biggest names in the entertainment industry for over 20 years. In France, his outlets have included Vogue, CNTraveler, Glamour, Elle, Tele 7, Le Journal du Dimanche, Tele Cable, Cinema, and others. He also works in other French-speaking countries, including Switzerland and Canada, and is currently the correspondent for Le Matin Dimanche, Switzerland’s biggest French-language newspaper, as well as a contributor to 20 Minutes newspaper, published in both Geneva and Lausanne. Arnaud is a U.S. correspondent for Luxe, a quarterly supplement of Bilan, one of Switzerland’s top business magazines.

Adam Tanswell is an award-winning journalist from London. Alongside his current editorial position as Hollywood Correspondent for the UK movie magazine Total Film, his prize-winning articles have been published in British publications including Radio Times, SFX, Metro, SciFiNow, First News, OK!, and Digital Spy. Adam is a member of the LA Press Club and BAFTA LA. He is accredited with the MPA and has been a member of the HFPA since 2015. He’s also an active member of the NUJ (National Union of Journalists) in the UK and served on the Preselection Committee for the Monte Carlo Television Festival’s Golden Nymph Awards.

Sharlette Hambrick is founder and CEO of Y-Tulip Productions with a successful career as an entertainment industry executive, who is credited with shifting the landscape of entertainment television and the cultivation and expansion of all emerging platforms. Sharlette is most well-known for her Emmy award-winning tenure at Entertainment Tonight, As Senior Producer, she led the coverage of all the premiere film festivals (Cannes, Venice, Toronto, Sundance). From her start as a segment producer to her eventual status as Senior Producer, she successfully helped to restructure the show’s entire focus, elevating its coverage and prominence. Her efforts led to her being integral to the launch of the movie review show Hot Ticket with Leonard Maltin, followed by the launch of The Insider, a visionary growth product of the Entertainment Tonight brand.
