Armando Bó: The Darker Side of the Beautiful Game
Armando Bo, 41, makes his debut on the small screen with the Amazon Prime series, El Presidente, in which he explores the infamous 2015 FIFA corruption scandal involving soccer officials around the world who were found guilty of racketeering and mail fraud. This acclaimed dramedy follows Sergio Jadue (Andres Parra), the head of a small Chilean football club, who becomes a key player in the scandal. In doing so, he helps bring down the executives at FIFA and its member federations.
Birdman, the 2015 Golden Globe and Oscar-winning screenplay which he wrote in collaboration with Alejandro González Iñárritu, Nicolás Giacobone, and Alexander Dinelaris Jr.
Biutiful (2010), which starred Javier Bardem, and directing the Qualcomm-distributed short film, Lifeline (2016), which earned him a Best of Branded Entertainment winner at the 2017 One Show Awards.
