“The 66^th Annual Golden Globe Awards” Will Be Telecast Live On NBC Sunday, January 11

HOLLYWOOD, CA, December 18, 2008 – Simon Baker, Drew Barrymore and Sacha Baron Cohen have been set as presenters at “The 66^th Annual Golden Globe Awards” to be telecast live on NBC Sunday, January 11 (8 – 11 p.m. EST) at The Beverly Hilton.

Steven Spielberg will receive this year’s Cecil B. deMille Award from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for his “outstanding contribution to the entertainment field.”

“The 66^th Annual Golden Globe Awards” will be seen in more than 150 countries worldwide and is one of the few awards ceremonies that span both television and motion picture achievements.

“The 66^th Annual Golden Globe Awards” will take place Sunday, January 11, 2009 at The Beverly Hilton with a live telecast airing on NBC at 8 p.m. (EST) and produced by Dick Clark Productions in association with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Jorge Camara is President of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Orly Adelson, president of dcp and Barry Adelman will executive produce. Chris Donovan is the director and dcp’s Bob Bardo is the executive in charge of production.
