Corinne Foxx: Miss Golden Globe 2016
Corinne Foxx, daughter of Golden Globe winner and two-time Golden Globe nominee Jamie Foxx, is our Miss Golden Globe 2016. A senior at the University of Southern California, Corinne recently shot a campaign for accessory line The Icing. HFPA President Lorenzo Soria made the announcement this evening at the first party of the 2016 Golden Globe Awards Season, hosted by the HFPA and InStyle, at Ysabel West Hollywood.“We are delighted to have Corinne Foxx continue the tradition and have her as our 2016 Miss Golden Globe,” said Soria. “Like her father, she leads a fine example of following her dreams and we can’t wait to see what she does next.”“Throughout the years I’ve grown up watching my dad establish himself as a well-respected actor,” said Foxx. “I’m honored that HFPA has given me the opportunity to now share the same stage where he’s been recognized for some of his greatest accomplishments.”
Chosen by the HFPA, the honoree is traditionally the son or daughter of one of the industry’s most respected actors/actresses/directors/producers of our time and assists during the Golden Globe Awards ceremony. The 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards will air LIVE coast-to-coast on NBC from 8:00-11:00 p.m. (EST)/5:00-8:00 p.m. (PST) from the Beverly Hilton Hotel with host Ricky Gervais.Previous Miss and Mister Golden Globe honorees include: Greer Grammer, daughter of Kelsey Grammer; Sosie Bacon, daughter of Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick; Francesca Eastwood, daughter of Clint Eastwood and Frances Fisher; Sam Fox, son of Michael J.
