COURTNEY COX TALKS ABOUT SEPARATION

When former Friends star Courtney Cox decided to talk for the first time about her struggle to deal with her recent separation from her husband of 11 years David Arquette, she chose to meet and discuss it with the Hollywood Foreign Press.

“He’s a kook,” she said of her husband, who revealed to Howard Stern that he had cried after he had sex with another woman after separating from Cox. “It wasn’t shocking to me.”
Courtney, 46, who stars in the TV series Cougar Town, added: “I feel I have been in a whirlwind. It’s all new and I don’t know how it’s going to turn out. Now that we are separated there is a big adjustment.”
Talking with HFPA members at the Four Seasons Hotel, she said that she and 39-year-old Arquette, who met on the set of the film Scream in 1996, still see each other regularly for the sake of their six year old daughter Coco.
