A gun-for-hire (Ryan Reynolds) is submitted to an experimental treatment that leaves him both disfigured and incredibly powerful, all the while keeping his acerbic and dark sense of humor.  “What we put on the screen is the most authentic version of Deadpool that could ever be presented on screen”, says Reynolds (who also produced the picture). “Eleven years trying to make this movie…it’s been a hell of a journey”.
