Starz threw a party in honor of its time-bending drama Outlander as part of its Comic Con slate.
At the Starz bash, Caitriona Balfe, Outlander’s Claire Beauchamp, was stunning in a Vintage dress, despite having arrived a few hours earlier from the UK and driven directly to San Diego for this year’s Comic-Con. She talked briefly about the upcoming Season, which takes place in Paris. The costumes have changed from the earthy textures of the Scotland based first Season. “The costume designer has been brilliant,” Balfe enthused. “Our characters had to flee after the climax of last season with Frank Randall – portrayed by Tobias Menzies’ character. Claire had to have clothes made to blend in with her new environment; she has brought a 1940s overtone to the 18th Century style. I can’t wait for the fans to see it.”
