When people tune in to watch the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards on January 12, 2014, they will not only be watching the awards show but the exciting and much-talked-about fashion scene on the red carpet as well.
Every year, Hollywood’s A-listers walk down the red carpet, sashaying and making their own fashion statements for the New Year while the fashion paparazzi, critics or simply fashion aficionados watch every little detail. The most-awaited and watched Golden Globe red carpet scene showcases the who’s who of Hollywood in their designer or vintage gowns, expensive or simply creative jewelry, the latest in accessories, shoes, purses and even hair and make-up trends.
This year, the design industry’s global color experts at Pantone have declared that Radiant Orchid will be the 2014 official color. Last year, they chose Emerald as a symbol of growth, renewal and prosperity. This 2014, Radiant Orchid, which is an enchanting harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones, inspires confidence and emanates great joy, love and health. It already permeated the runways during the spring 2014 fashion shows and is now making its way onto the red carpet.
