Foreign Film Panel Kicks Off Golden Globes Weekend
[jwplayer player=”1″ mediaid=”24752″] The Hollywood Foreign Press Association kicked off the Golden Globes weekend with its annual symposium of foreign film directors, featuring interviews and q and a sessions with this year’s nominated directors. Moderated by former HFPA member Mike Goodridge, the symposium was conducted in conjunction with American Cinematheque at Hollywood’s Egyptian Theatre and was preceded by a reception at Sadie Kitchen and Lounge across the street. The panel discussion which followed featured Asgar Farhadi, nominated for The Past (Iran); Abdellatif Kechiche, Blue is the Warmest Color (France); Paolo Sorrentino,The Great Beauty (Italy); Thb9omas Vinterberg, The Hunt (Denmark). Japan’s Hayao Miyazaki (The Wind Rises) was unable to attend.
