Avatar: The Way of Water remains number 1 at the box office in France. Directed by James Cameron with Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, and Sigourney Weaver, Avatar: The Way of Water takes place a decade after the events chronicled in the first film and tell the story of the members of the Sully family. The movie grossed $13,862,459 for a total of $108,901,122.

Father & Soldier premiered in 2^nd place. Directed by Mathieu Vadepied with Omar Sy, Alassane Diong, and Jonas Bloquet, the movie is about a dad who enlists in the French army to join his son who has been forcibly recruited. Sent to the front, father and son will have to face the war together. The movie grossed $2,936,433 in the first week.

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish lost one spot and is now number 3 at the French box office. Directed by Joel Crawford and Januel Mercado, the movie is about Puss in Boots who discovers that his passion for adventure has burned through eight of his nine lives. The movie grossed $1,043,213 reaching a total of $14,487,428.

M3GAN goes down one spot at the box office in France and is now in 4^th place. Directed by Gerard Johnstone with Allison Williams, Violet McGraw, and Ronny Chieng, the movie is about a robotics engineer at a toy company who builds a life-like doll that begins to take on a life of its own. The movie grossed $854,820 for a total of $2,618,133.     

Ride Above lost one spot and is now number 5. Directed by Christian Duguay with Mélanie Laurent, Pio Marmaï, and Kacey Mottet Klein, the movie is about a teenager who has a deep exceptional bond with a young horse but following an accident, her dream to have a racing career may be over. The movie grossed $750,089 reaching a total of $4,125,545.

The Banshees of Inisherin premiered at the top box office in France at 6^th place. Directed by Martin McDonagh with Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, and Kerry Condon, the movie is about two lifelong friends who find themselves at an impasse when one of them decides overnight to end their friendship. The movie grossed $567,968 for a total of $1,362,847

Choeur de rockers lost one spot and is now number 7. Directed by Ida Techer and Luc Bricault with Mathilde Seigner, Bernard Le Coq, and Anne Benoit, the movie is about a singer having problems with his career and accepting the job to make a choir of retirees sing nursery rhymes. The movie grossed $430,777 reaching a total of $1,381,613.

Caravaggio’s Shadow won one spot and is now in 8^th place. Directed by Michele Placido with Riccardo Scamarcio, Louis Garrel, and Isabelle Huppert, the movie is about the secret investigation by the Catholic Church of Caravaggio asking for clemency for killing a rival. The movie grossed $422,039 for a total of $1,172,234.         

Nostalgia came to the box office in 9^th place. Directed by Mario Martone with Pierfrancesco Favino, Tommaso Ragno, and Francesco Di Leva, the movie is about a man returning to Naples, his hometown, after 40 years and must deal with his past. The movie grossed $396,772.

From 5^th, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is now in 10^th place.  Directed by Ryan Coogler with Letitia Wright, Angela Bassett, and Danai Gurira, the movie is about the people of Wakanda fighting to protect their home from intervening world powers as they mourn the death of King T’Challa. . The movie grossed $382,790 reaching a total of $32,436,836.
