Directed by Olivier Dahan with Elsa Zylberstein, Rebecca Marder, and Élodie Bouchez, the movie is about the life of the most famous female politician in France: Simon Veil. The epic movie shows her terrible childhood, tragedies, and political struggles. The movie grossed $2,734,063.

Novembre lost one spot and is now number 2. Directed by Cédric Jimenez with Jean Dujardin, Anaïs Demoustier, and Sandrine Kiberlain, the movie follows the French anti-terrorism services during the five days after the November 13^th, 2015 attacks in Paris. The movie grossed $2,457,976 reaching a total of $6,602,924.

Jack Mimoun et Les secrets de Val Verde premiered in 3^rd place. Directed by Malik Bentalha and Ludovic Colbeau-Justin with Malik Bentalha, Joséphine Japy, and Jérôme Commandeur, the comedy is about Jack Mimoun who became an adventure star after surviving alone on the hostile island of Val Verde. The movie grossed $1,572,189.   

Halloween Ends is coming in the French box office at 4^th place. Directed by David Gordon Green with Jamie Lee Curtis, Andi Matichak, and Rohan Campbell, the thriller follows Laurie’s new life four years after the events of Halloween Kills who now lives with her granddaughter Allyson and is finishing her memoir. The movie grossed $1,381,747.

From 2^nd, Smile is now in 5^th place. Directed by Parker Finn with Sosie Bacon, Jessie T. Usher, and Kyle Gallner, the movie is about a psychiatrist who starts to experience frightening occurrences after witnessing a traumatic incident involving one of her patients. The movie grossed $1,298,987 reaching a total of $4,391,816.

The Innocent premiered in 6^th place. Directed by Louis Garrel with Roschdy Zem, Anouk Grinberg, and Noémie Merlant, the comedy is about a 60- year-old mom who decided to get married to a prisoner. Her son will do anything to protect her. For the first week, the movie grossed $1,089,104.

Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank is coming at the French box office in 7^th place. Directed by Rob Minkoff, Mark Koetsier, and Chris Bailey, the animated movie is about Hank, a loveable dog dreaming about becoming a samurai in search of his destiny. The movie grossed $1,004,758.

Ticket to Paradise lost 4 spots and is now number 8. Directed by Ol Parker with George Clooney, Julia Roberts, and Kaitlyn Dever, the story is about a divorced couple who decided to be united to stop their daughter from making the same mistake by getting married after love at first sight. The movie grossed a total of $1,882,344.      

From number 3, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is now in 9^th place.  Directed by Tetsuro Kodama, the animated movie is about the return of The Red Ribbon Army from Goku with two new androids willing to attack the real superheroes.  The movie grossed $512,703 reaching a total of $2,030,979.           

Triangle of Sadness lost 4 spots and is now in 10^th place at the French box office. Directed by Ruben Östlund with Harris Dickinson, Charlbi Dean Kriek, and Woody Harrelson, Triangle of Sadness is a satire of our society with a group of passengers on a luxury cruise trapped on an island. The movie grossed $463,813 reaching a total of $2,451,589.
