GOLDEN GLOBE NOMINEE NORA EPHRON DIES

Writer-director-journalist  Nora Ephron, who has died aged 71, was a Golden Globe nominee for her screenplay for the 1990 comedy When Harry Met Sally.

Best known for her romantic comedies, her last film was Julie and Julia, which she both wrote and directed.

After writing hits such as Silkwood and Heartburn and  ‘All The President’s Men’, with her husband Carl Bernstein, she turned to directing in 1991 with This Is Your Life and went on to both write and direct such movies as Sleepless in Seattle, You’ve Got Mail, Lucky Numbers and Bewitched.
