Following tradition where a daughter or son of one of Hollywood’s most respected actors is selected to assist at the Golden Globes, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association named Corinne Foxx, daughter of Jamie Foxx, Miss Golden Globe 2016. The announcement was made at a party helt at West Hollywood’s Ysabel restaurant, serving as the de facto opening of Golden Globe Season.Foxx, a USC student who recently wrapped a Ralph Lauren campaign, dazzled in a lacy black Lorena Sarbu romper, Stuart Weitzman shoes and Jimmy Choo clutch, with Effy jewelry, said, “I am so honored and humbled to be chosen as this year’s Miss Golden Globe. I remember attending the Golden Globes in 2013 with my dad. I remember Francesca Eastwood and Sam Fox present as Mr. and Miss Golden Globe. To be in their shoes today is a dream come true.” She went on to thank her parents. “My mother for her constant support and love and my father for always encouraging me to pursue my dreams.”

Foxx follows Greer Grammer, daughter of Kelsey Grammer, who was Miss Golden Globe last year. Previous honorees include Sosie Bacon, daughter of Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick; Francesca Eastwood, daughter of Clint Eastwood and Frances Fisher; Sam Fox, son of Michael J.
