Golden Globes 2021: The First Round of Presenters Has Been Announced
Awkwafina, Cynthia Erivo, Joaquin Phoenix, Kristen Wiig, Renee Zellweger, and Annie Mumolowill present at the 2021 Golden Globes.
Following the tradition, winners and nominees from previous years serve as presenters – and this year is no exception. In 2020 Awkwafina won for Best Actress – Motion Picture Musical/Comedy for The FarewellHarriet – Best Actress, Motion Picture Drama and Best Original Song, Motion Picture; Joaquin Phoenix took home his second Golden Globe this time for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama, for JokerRenee Zelwegger added the fourth Golden Globe with a win as Best Actress-Drama for Judy, and Kristen Wiig is a 2012 nominee in the Best Actress, Comedy or Musical category, for Bridesmaids. Actress, scriptwriter, comedian, and producer Annie Mumolo co-wrote the Golden Globe-nominated Bridesmaids; she co-wrote and stars, with Wiig, in Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar.
The 78th Annual Golden Globe® Awards, hosted by Tina Fey from the Rainbow Room in New York and Amy Poehler from The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, will air LIVE coast to coast on Sunday, Feb. 28, 2021 from 5-8 p.m. PT/8-11 p.m. ET on NBC and will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
