HFPA Presents: Globes Countdown Live, the official pre-show for the 2021 Golden Globe Awards, will stream live from the official Golden Globes Twitter accountand on goldenglobes.comth, at 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM PST/6:30 PM – 8 PM EST in the United States. The show is presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and dick clark productions (dcp) in partnership with Twitter.
Actress Sofia Carson and NBC Access Hollywood entertainment reporter Zuri Hall will host the 90-minute countdown live from The Beverly Hilton. Rasha Goel and Scott Mantz will remotely interview the nominees and honorees of the 78^th Annual Golden Globe Awards. Throughout the show, a panel composed by Nick Viall, host of The Viall Files podcast, AJ Gibson & Emile Ennis Jr, comedian Fortune Feimster, and many more will discuss the nominated series and films.
Viewers will be able to engage with the pre-show directly by participating in the ongoing polls from @goldenglobes.  Results will be revealed and tweeted by the panel.
Charitable and philanthropic initiatives by the HFPA will be announced and highlighted during the show. Golden Globe Ambassadors Satchel and Jackson Lee, special pre-show guests, will debut their self-produced video, which features their philanthropic work across the LGBTQ+ and mentorship communities. Satchel will highlight Callen-Lorde, a primary care center for LGBTQ+ people in New York and Jackson will spotlight Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America, the nation’s largest donor, and volunteer supported mentoring network.
