Hero Moment-Comic-Con 2017: “Arrow”’s Stephen Amell Enters the Multiverse

Stephen Amell must be the most relaxed TV super-hero in the stellar gathering of colleagues at Comic-Con.  He’s a veteran of the event and with five seasons of Arrow behind him,  he is very familiar with the reactions of fans from all over the world: “In China, it was a little weird’, he told us. ‘They call me sugar brother because “green arrow” translates roughly to a type of candy. And then all of a sudden you find out that millions of people watch your show. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised anymore. The whole idea that this show just exists on one network it’s kind of the past. It exists on a global scale and that’s the great thing about a comic book property. And that’s one of the reasons why I don’t think you’ll see comic book properties slow down on TV because you can make a show, a studio can make a show and they can reach wherever you want it to go’.

Amell is excited that on October 12, Arrow will debut its 6th season and that his character is now part of a whole universe includes The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow : ‘Although I do love my castmates, I love going over and doing a show like Flash or Super Girl or Legends and just having fun with new people and new crew Isn’t that exciting? And it is. When we do it it’s really exciting”.
