In the upcoming third installment of the Planets of the Apes trilogy, War for the Planet of the Apes, four time Golden Globe nominee Woody Harrelson plays The Colonel, the ferocious commander bent into exterminating the Apes We met at the Soho Hotel in London where the cool actor surprised us by sharing his enthusiasm for the new unreleased U2 album. “Bono played me half a dozen tracks and I can tell you, the album is amazing.”
Woody’s passion for music is shared by many of his actor friends, he told us:
“I feel like there’s a lot of actors that kind of have musical passion too. I have seen a lot of actors who are pretty gifted musically because I think you get used to, you have to find a rhythm in a scene, so you have to be one of those people who I feel has to have this sense of rhythm, your own sense of rhythm really. And it might be an unusual rhythm but it’s like, there’s a certain kind of rhythmic thing to acting I think. I just love it.”
